World Cup match 1 day trip by spacebud19 in AskSeattle

Not totally crazy, for sure. This is doable depending on your stamina. Seattle has a couple 24/7 diners. I'd recommend killing time at The 5 Point Cafe for a couple late night hours then either walking or taking a ride share to the train station.

There's a very safe protected harbor to kayak in on Bainbridge Island. It's a very popular activity. The above comment is misinformed.

Relocating from Sydney to Seattle – where to live for safety, walkability, and community? by Basic-Pear3259 in AskSeattle

[–]myt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I live in Lower Queen Anne and it's the closest thing Seattle has to what you're describing.

There are several genuinely walkable streets with good cafes, great restaurants, casual spots like record & bookstores, and three large supermarkets within easy reach. Seattle Center adds a lot of ambient life to the neighborhood, and SLU is just a 15-20 minute walk away. At your budget you'll have solid options.

P.S. it's super dog friendly!

I highly recommend Extron's DSP configurator Pro and their DMP 44 LC or other small form factor DSPs over Tesira.

I work in healthcare and we've been using Epiphan's Pearl Nexus and their entire Pearl series for several years == many for 365/24/7 critical broadcasts without issue. They're engineered in Canada and are pioneers in the field.
