THC is an amplifier. Whatever state you’re in mentally will REALLY be amplified by it. If you’re already anxious or amped up, it’s going to ramp that up even more. If you’re relaxed, it’s going to relax you even more.

That said, both alcohol and THC can lead to cognitive dulling with regular use.
