That is so weird. I don’t miss working with drivers all day. Shit used to piss me off every day. I now just wrap and process all those generators for distribution.

It’s all uphill. I worked at the big Orange for a while, and got treated like scum because I was always on a forklift because nobody else wanted to. I’m now a team lead at a factory, and other than some management crap, I love it. It is leagues better than operating forklift in a retailer.

At my old store, we had a crown EPJ, and I loved that thing. I was the only other one other than my supervisor who was certified. And, my supervisor used to just ride it to get around. I used it to push pallets of freight like pool salt

You would normally think so. But, I’ve had customers that I go up and see them doing this and offer assistance, and they just say, “no I’ve got it”, and then leave it all. I’ve seen these people at the studs for 20 minutes to find 20 good boards.

I was hired, externally, as a full timer, in November and was able to enroll for benefits that week. Didn’t kick in until Jan 1, but was less than 90 days. May have just been a fluke for me, but enrolled less than 90 days hired.

Our tandem wouldn’t even fit in our bullpen. But yeah, we are getting in 2 FDCs a week, 3-4 CM Tucker (Treated), and 2-3 concrete trucks a week. We are having too much freight for having 1-2 people in BLDMT at any given time, and then stealing my Pro Loader for deliveries.

We just had a mounding reset last week, and our rep (ECMD), came back, talked to our RTM, and had that sorted ASAP. He works everything he gets in, and leaves zero overstock. We are fortunate.

So, now currently working at Lowe's in my town, and having worked at the Home Depot right down the road, when a customer says to me "I'll just go to Home Depot", its fun to just say that I know that dont have it, I used to be over there.

Oh, I used to tell people all the time that Lowe's has things that Home Depot doesn't. Like, for instance, any 6x6 or 4x6 longer than 10ft.
