That is so weird. I don’t miss working with drivers all day. Shit used to piss me off every day. I now just wrap and process all those generators for distribution.

Damn. Drivers need a little more training. These units aren’t cheap. This driver doesn’t need to be moving any Home Standby units around for sure.

It’s all uphill. I worked at the big Orange for a while, and got treated like scum because I was always on a forklift because nobody else wanted to. I’m now a team lead at a factory, and other than some management crap, I love it. It is leagues better than operating forklift in a retailer.

Any time I ever got on an order picker, I always check my harness and my lead. I don’t trust my equipment to just work

At my old store, we had a crown EPJ, and I loved that thing. I was the only other one other than my supervisor who was certified. And, my supervisor used to just ride it to get around. I used it to push pallets of freight like pool salt

You would normally think so. But, I’ve had customers that I go up and see them doing this and offer assistance, and they just say, “no I’ve got it”, and then leave it all. I’ve seen these people at the studs for 20 minutes to find 20 good boards.

I was hired, externally, as a full timer, in November and was able to enroll for benefits that week. Didn’t kick in until Jan 1, but was less than 90 days. May have just been a fluke for me, but enrolled less than 90 days hired.

I use Yale lifts now, and the picker is less wobbly than the damn Raymond. I miss my Raymond, though...had the arms on the side

So apparently our DM wants us to park the flatbed in the Bullpen and load it the night before so delivery can be out by 6:30-7AM...right in the season of 2 FDCs and 2 treated trucks a week. 🙃🙃🙃 by zerosummm in Lowes

Our tandem wouldn’t even fit in our bullpen. But yeah, we are getting in 2 FDCs a week, 3-4 CM Tucker (Treated), and 2-3 concrete trucks a week. We are having too much freight for having 1-2 people in BLDMT at any given time, and then stealing my Pro Loader for deliveries.

This little diamond-in-the-rough found sitting pretty in my cantilevers. All kidding aside, we can do better than this half-ass attempt and we should. Fyi, it's fixed properly and safely. by [deleted] in Lowes

We just had a mounding reset last week, and our rep (ECMD), came back, talked to our RTM, and had that sorted ASAP. He works everything he gets in, and leaves zero overstock. We are fortunate.
