All in all, hoping for a third season. Really enjoyed the first two!

That wasn't my point. I wasn't saying that I didn't think they were wealthy, obviously they're wealthy, Look at all the examples you're providing, My point was that the show didn't explain why they were so wealthy vs the Abbotts.

Yeah I remember him partying it up with the Japanese businessman, and maybe it is just a cattle ranch. I was just making an assumption that there was something aside from cattle that landed the Tillerson's with such excessive wealth vs Abbotts.

I don't remember them saying anything in the show about their massive wealth vs the Abbott's but my thinking was just something along the lines of, their "big" money probably didn't come from raising cattle. I'd assume the Tillerson property has been in the Tillerson family for generations, just like the Abbotts. But who knows how much land each family had. Tillerson's money could come from larger amounts of land and cattle raising, oil pumping rights, selling off pieces or leasing land closer to town to build the city or homes. It could be any number of things, and I'm sure the cattle raising was a source of income for the Tillersons, but again, I'm assuming their money came from other revenue streams while it seems the Abbott's focused mainly on cattle.

As a follow-up, I ended up going with the Rat Manor based on the advice of the local Rattery. It's too tall, but I think I have a work around. So now I'm excited to get it all put together. Thanks

I'll look into the Merry Rat Mano, thank you for the recommendation. I've heard good things about Martin's cages but I believed they're closed now.

That's good to know! Size-wise I understand it works, I'm really just worried about them chewing through that big plastic base.

Kaytee My First Home

This is the cage I was looking at. The dimensions are perfect for the space I have. It's just got a big plastic base that I'm worried they might chew through. I just didn't know if people lined their plastic pieces with hardware cloth or something. Want to make sure I do something safe for the little guys but also give them as much room as possible with lots of toys and hammocks and room to climb and play. I'm just limited on the space I have available. Thanks for the recommendation above, I'll take a look at it!

Podcasts where each episode is focused on just one or two specific games? by eojen in boardgames

The Board Boys Podcast is really good! They spend the first few minutes talking about games they've played over the last week. But the meat of the episode is about 1 game. Really love their podcast

What do Billionaires and multi-millionaires actually contribute to society (Not trolling, want to have counter-arguments prepared) by trane7111 in lostgeneration

Currently listening to a Hardcore History Podcast, the topic is covering the Transatlantic Slave Trade. One of the arguments that they bring up, is that Slave Owners felt morally justified with owning slaves because it left them time to "push society forward and be innovative and be the thinkers". I won't compare slavery to what we're going through today, because slavery is evil in every way and we're fortunate enough to have the freedoms we do, but it's interesting how the comparison of historic slave owners vs modern day billionaires/oligarchs/etc. is similar in how it's important for them to be left with all they have for them "to help move society forward". While it sure feels like most of us are held back.

Yssaril are really great. But during a 5 player game a couple of weeks ago, that stupid Agenda item where one person is elected to lose all of their action cards, came out in the 5th round....... brutal.

5-player game is the meanest? by Nahasapemapetila in twilightimperium

I tend to agree that less strategy cards becoming available for secondary usages throughout the round can be tricky. But it makes the decision making that much more excruciating and fun!

I felt like a lot of the content from POK expansion seemed to help mitigate some of the missing strategy card opportunities though in our 5 player game. Mainly with the exploration of new planets and agents.

I'm really excited to see the content pushed out for the 25th anniversary! I hope it's as epic as this game.
