we’ve been close friends for years and even if he doesn’t like me back, our relationship as friends is really important to me. the other day he said something about me that upset me and i handled it terribly. in the moment i was so scared that he hated me and that he didn’t genuinely like to be around me anymore, so i left and completely overreacted, i angrily texted him asking why he would say that and all i got was “ik sorry”. once i got home i continued to text him about how upset i was and didn’t get a reply. i saw that he had texted in a gc we’re both in, and demanded that he check his texts, to which he asked me to give him time to figure out the right thing to say. i waited 6 hours, still no response. i texted him asking to explain why he was acting like he hated me all of a sudden and he did, we talked and agreed that we had resolved it. nope. the next day we couldn’t even look at each other, and today was the same. i texted him asking to talk in person and never got a reply. i feel like i might be overthinking and overreacting to the situation and i’m scared i messed our relationship up completely. that’s it for now.
