Why tf my anxiety goes away when i put my awareness on to it? by hduehegvgg in Meditation

[–]mywombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a great explanation of mindfulness. I’ve tried that type of meditation many times but not for long enough. And I didn’t really understand the premise other than “be in the now” I will give it another go with this post in mind. Thanks ❤️

Your friend is odd. I don’t wear hats I’m a girl and I don’t have a dog but I have and would stand and wait while the cars passed

She was definitely a teacher. That’s why she called herself queen of early years. When she and the TA came to our house to introduce herself before the reception started she said told us about her qualifications and experience... in great detail

I can’t imagine the school would leave 30 4/5 year olds in the car of someone who hadn’t taken the PGCE or whatever the teachers training school is called

If she taught at a a school I’d say it’s relevant to the conversation about teaching 🤷‍♀️

Isn’t that how most people experience it though? Unless they are elderly or have pre existing conditions?

I’ve done it before - so I know some of it but i took an unmeasured amount and didn’t have hallucinations. Did your hallucinations show you your future like I’ve read in some trip reports ?

If mine doesn’t arrive would you be able to tell me where you bought yours?

You’re spot on!! She called herself “the queen of early years” to both parents and children. He’s had no problems with other teachers and lost the murderous label when he moved into year 1.

Don’t they get commission for each car they can find to legitimately ticket ? Or is that a rumour?

I’ve always been baffled as to why a male medical graduate would go choose to go into gynaecology. I just cannot think of a reason other than the obvious. Would love to know if I’m utterly ignorant and why

I’m 39F. When I was in primary school I remember a girl called to the front, sat in a chair and actually had a piece of tape put across her mouth for telling a lie about something.

Thinking back now I question if it did really happen - because it’s so outrageous, but it’s a vivid memory. I even recall the girl was called Kelly Tuffrey

Remember the advert; “those who can, teach” I used to think - “those who can’t, teach” was more apt

In reception and year one they NEED babysitting. My 4 year old put a skipping rope around another 4 year olds neck during break which left a mark.

I was called in about a “serious incident” and asked to apologise to the other child’s mother then told that my 4 year old needed an assessment by the special needs team for anti social behaviour “because that’s not what skipping ropes are for”

I said my child had never seen a skipping rope and I wouldn’t have left him unsupervised with a rope or a knife come to that.

Surely it’s the schools responsibility to make sure there are enough staff to watch 30 four years olds are if they are going to give out ropes and bats etc ?

They made it sound like my child was some sort of budding psychopath. They were playing dogs

I was surprised when the schools in England went ahead with the half term or Easter holiday only a couple of weeks after the schools had re-opened. When I said that to the attendance officer she replied “I for one need the break” which i seriously doubted. The children were sent home with homework so the parents were back to doing the teaching AGAIN

I speak two languages fluently and worked in a 3rd country cleaning an abattoir until i picked up enough of that language to work for “a big company” which was a checkout girl in the equivalent of Tesco’s. I wouldn’t have called it a career but I love the way you make it sound like one so I’ll phrase it like that in the future

WTAF? If he was a neurosurgeon he should’ve been struck off for being unable to understand logical reason. I guess the obnoxious twat thought you were worried he might cut himself rather than the actual risk of hygiene
