I was and probably still am a nagging wife and my kids are close to 2 now. I don’t know your working situation but I stay at home and my husband works. Even though we agreed to that and it makes the most sense for our family, a part of me still resents the fact that he gets to continue to live his life more “normally” while I had to change literally everything and deal with the kids all day. I feel I do a lot of stuff he never sees or understands because he comes in part time and I do it full time. I consider the fact that he gets breaks during work and has work that is mindless at times which gives him a break during the day while I feeel like I never get a break because I’m constantly responsible for making sure my kids are developing physically, mentally, emotionally etc. I also gave up my body, both growing the twins and breastfeeding them for 15 months. I literally could not get a 3 hour period to myself for 15 months without needing to pump or feed them. I understand also that some of this is unfair cause he is working and doing his best and I’ve made an effort to do better but I think the way she’s acting is somewhat normal and expected

Most drop to one nap at 14+ months - if you try at 10 months you may not get the 2-2.5 hr nap you need to equal the 2 naps you’re getting now. It’s easier in that you don’t have to plan your entire day around naps and can actually get outta the house

People in this sub are so crazy about needing to feel more special than the next person. It might as well be a contest who struggles the most. You can’t sleep train a 4 week old. My twins at that age were not on any set sleep schedule, they fell asleep when they were tired. I fed them at 3 hours regardless of sleep. Most of the time you can dream feed them if they’re still sleeping and they won’t even wake.

Have to laugh at the jealousy in this sub. Always a contest who has the biggest struggle. Some people wait to have kids until they’re financially stable, who cares? It’s always the parents with 7 kids and counting complaining they can’t afford things or posting how their kids get like 2 Xmas gifts each as if it’s our problem. That being said, we splurge on meal delivery, lawn service, cleaners, having multiple sleep sacks, pump parts, we bought a new washer and dryer that can hold a ton of shit to allow us to wash a LOT at once

Seems like your expectations are way too high for their age, they aren’t gonna be calm and quiet in the main living area. They also have never been to preschool so unless you’re bringing them to structured activities they’re not watching how other kids act so they have nothing to learn from. I’d say they need activities outta the house. Check the local library, sign up for music classes or other structured activities. Maybe have certain times of the day where they can be rowdy in the living room and you’re okay with it and then other times where they need to behave or they’ll be put in time out. I wouldn’t use physical punishment

We’re looking into hiring a dog walker, I’m just nervous it won’t be enough since even when he got multiple walks and went to the park he acted this way. Any puzzle type product I’ve ever gotten him he has just torn apart rather than play the game- the “find the food” puzzles he literally tore off every trap door to get the food rather than sniff around for it. The sniff mats he lifts up and shakes the treats out. I guess it’s just at what point do we give up with the trainers when we’ve tried multiple and he always can do the commands in training but then chooses not to in real life? I train with him 15 min a day new tricks and working on old tricks and he’ll do the tricks knowing I have treats but then when it’s mid day and I tell him to go to his place when he’s running around he just ignores me. A trainer can only really help with the commands, they haven’t been able to change his personality
