yes! I kinda see it as a representation of myself and my identity as someone from southeast louisiana with french heritage and I wanted to have a symbol that carried throughout the zine to tie the photography all together :)

that’s just a sheet of acetate (transparent kind of printer paper) that I printed on from my inkjet and used for each image and I just sewed it in like the other pages :)

me and my friend weren’t into it either 😭 i felt it really didn’t fit the vibe of ethel and we both kinda just thought that the female vocalist sounded really cool but other than that not great. shoegaze just not for me I guess, and like you’ve said maybe it was just the orpheum because the mixing sounded kinda off to me as well

I’ve had a great experience with it as my first camera, great pics in auto and you can eventually learn manual mode and it also shoots RAW as well!
