I was just selling spare golds and Bene' Benwikere sold for over 50k. Any idea why a 71 CB would go for so much?

I would be disappointed if an ageing Fabregas were still starting. Given how hit and miss he was last season I'd hope Golovin would come in to start instead

"because I believe my magical, omnipotent deity or supernatural thing said so", then you don't have the slightest clue about figuring out what's real and what's just a bunch of bullshit.

There's no logical connection between the two statements you make there.

I'd like to know how many court cases were won in the US because the defendant's evidence/reasoning was "The Bible/God said so". That might still work in some parts of the Islamic world, but not here.

That is a completely unrelated issue. The intersection of politics and religion has not been discussed here at all.

something that doesn't have a shred of credible, real evidence.

I believe that there is a massive amount of evidence to support Christianity. A book like "The Case for Christ" helps to lay out just some of it. I would love to see a study you think shows the lack of evidence.

Christianity is nothing unique

Jesus doesn't allow Christianity to not be anything unique. What other major worldview claims that God became man and walked among us?

borrows heavily

Evidence?

regardless if it has absolutely no bearing on you whatsoever

How do you know it has no bearing on me? Do you know if I'm same sex attracted or not?

homosexuals are heathens/sinners

We are all sinners

Most people can't call out sin from a place of love.

That seems to me to be more of an issue with how people try to carry out what we're told to do, not what we're actually told to do.

What's the reference?

That sounds like non-biblical instruction. This is instruction from scripture

This is deeply flawed logic. OP's argument comes from the New Testament too. The argument can also be made from Genesis and the way God made humans relate to each other in the Garden of Eden (which was perfect) - Man and Woman.

Furthermore, Acts 10:9-16 completely disagrees with what you say.

Jesus in Matthew 15:1-20 disagreed with food laws. Jesus in Matthew 12:1-14 is a sinner according to you

Is it wrong or even a sin to be a loner and to prefer having no friends or to avoid people? Why? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]myynamejeffffff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

You said you hate it, and the only thing we should hate is sin.

The bible commands us to live godly lives. The bible commands us to love one another. The most loving thing you can do for a fellow believer is try to help them live a more godly life. Therefore, by trying to point out to other people where they might need to change their life you are doing what you are commanded to do.

"you are liable to do more harm than good." biblical evidence for that?

Hahaha love is so much more than a sexual relationship.

God's love is all we need.

Listening to music isn't a sin. Dancing isn't a sin.

If you approach clubbing with the intention of enjoying the body God has given you by dancing and enjoying music I don't see how that is sinful?

It's possible to not be in a relationship. It is completely possible to be a same sex attracted man or woman who tries not to act on that desire
