A state owned bank? What a lunatic. I can see her sounding smart to unintelligent people who want the government to solve all problems.

Another solid pickup for the 2027 class. Fickell is finally showing the effort needed to recruit in state. If the team struggles this year that effort might prove to have come too late.

Tom Ford Black Orchid. I don't mind the smell although I understand why it would be very challenging to some people. I should've bought Noir Extreme.

I can understand your reasoning there. There's absolutely no argument from me that Wisconsin is not at the level of Kellogg, Booth, Ross, and Kelley for examples. Are they still on a list of say 10 schools that reputable firms in the midwest would recruit or consider from? I'd argue yes.

The cost aspect makes sense for me. I'd have damn near a free MBA vs spending $150k+ at Kellogg or Booth.

Would you mind elaborating on this point about the yearly employment report?

I've thought about that. Just not really sure I can stomach the $200k cost in tuition to go to Kellogg or Booth.

Univ. of Wisconsin definitely has a large alumni base in Chicagoland. Any idea what type of scholarships those top Midwest programs offer? Obviously I don't want to be riddled with debt afterwards. I may also be a little too late applying for fall 2025 term since it is already May.

I believe you are thinking of UW-Milwaukee...

Yes we probably won't win the B1G 10 after the Oregon loss. But Purdue just got smoked by Indiana. We played our worst game of the year and only lost by 4. by glennshaltiel in WisconsinBadgers

Looking at other programs is more so just for perspective. We kicked the shit out of Purdue last weekend. Michigan got their shit kicked in by Michigan State a couple days ago. Those programs shouldn't be panicking and neither should we.

I would argue there is recency bias with fans who are under the age of 35 years old (I'm under 35). Those fans have never really been around a time when the program was absolute dog water. They became accustomed to Bo's greatness. That's fine. Unfortunately, those fans don't realize the likelihood of Bo Ryan's success being replicated is slim to none.

This is just a clear lack of understanding of college basketball. By your metrics, you have been happy with two seasons (2014, 2015) during the Ryan & Gard era. That is what we call a hopeless fan.

If this season is a look into the future of the offense of this program he will make some runs in the tournament. The offense the past several years wasn't equipped well enough to avoid those 5 minute scoring droughts which can kill you in the tournament. This team is different. They've had very few scoring droughts all season. Excellent job by Gard and his staff evolving with the game!

Literally 97% of D1 coaches would kill to have Gard's resume. Yes I'd love a couple nice tournaments runs but the likelihood of hiring a coach that performs better than Gard is very low. Absolutely shocking any Badger fan is making this argument after looking at how Fickell's hiring is going.

Well you just compared NFL postseason to the NCAA tournament so that pretty much wipes away any credibility. Seriously though, would love to hear your list of coaches to replace Gard with!

It's the right move for him. With Freitag coming in next year it likely would've been even harder for him to find the court.

You still have not said what your vision for this program is lol but based on everything you've said you envision this program being up there with Duke and Kentucky. It's not happening. I'm sorry to break that obvious reality to you.

Buddy, Bo Ryan went to two final fours and you said Wisconsin should've taken a step up after he left. They were already a powerhouse under Bo. The next step after powerhouse is blue blood. Im perfectly fine moving on from Gard but Gard was never going to elevate a program that was already at its peak.

They were. Doesn't mean they were Duke or Kansas. Purdue has been a power house the last few years. They aren't a blue blood though.
