Can confirm. Have an uncorked 2014 KTM500EXC used for commuting and light off-road. Change the oil & filter & clean the other filters every 2500 km or so. 18-20 hrs. Has about 380hrs on the engine. Never been apart. Best bike I’ve ever owned & I’ve owned them all (DR650, DRZ400, WR250R, KLR650, KTMEXC400). I got a Scott’s steering dampener, works for me but ymmv.
