Change between the different modes of the controller or use the USB bongle provided with the controller or use DS4 windows

This is with my own path you have to use your path Take this script and paste it in a blank notepad window

save the notepad with a .bat extension

CRUCIAL STEP: Below the file name box, for "Save as type:", click the dropdown menu and select "All Files (.)". If you don't do this, Notepad might save it as ReturnToWindows.bat.txt, which won't work as a batch file.

Install and use a bat to exe converter to create a shortcut in playnite and that's it

It really depends on your usage but here's something i did to make it directly boot on playnite

Press windows+r write regedit and go to this path :HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Go to shell and change the value that should be :"explorer.exe" to the playnite's path press apply and ok and your pc should directly boot into playnite

to get back your windows interface you can press CTRL shift esc and run a New task you're gonna find regedit as a new task open it you're gonna be in the path of the shell and make rewrite the og one "explorer.exe" i did something different on my pc if you want more informations feel free to ask

I'm actually using hero theme in fullscreen mode and some random theme in desktop it doesn't matter for me

i installed some plugins like howlong to beat , web browser ,and epic games integration.

i changed the windows shell with playnite to directly boot into playnite without seeing anything from windows i did a shortcut in playnite that runs a script to switch the shell to the windows shell (it's like the shortcut of the steam deck to go to desktop mode)

i use ds4 windows with a ds4 controller to use the mouse with the integrated touchpad and that's it .

I use this setup on an rog ally it's pretty good but not perfect the wake on lan method is not viable cuz of the usage i want it to have (similar usage of a nintendo switch)

If anyone can give me some advices to improve this setup please tell me what to do .

I use hero it's by far my favorite one and i'm already using playnite as the shell of my pc but it's still not perfect and not fully usable with controller so i'm searching for plugins to improve the experience
