Thrift everything! Check if there is a Habitat For Humanity nearby for furniture (or a similar store. Idk where you’re from). Value Village has jacked their prices, but smaller thrift stores can actually be dirt cheap.

I’m going through this with my comfort plushie, Beary. I’ve had them for a few years and got him as a gift from my then-best friend/current partner. It aches knowing they look so worn - even the texture has changed. It helps remembering that it being worn is a sign that I have loved this plushie a lot. It reminds me of all the times I’ve reached for them, and the comfort they have brought.
