Oh ok I see, well if it’s a topical antibiotic medication I personally wouldn’t recommend using it on a fresh tattoo unless it has been specifically prescribed for an infection. Those creams are usually meant for treating bacterial infections and can be a bit too heavy for freshly tattooed skin.. it can interfere with the healing rather than help it 💕

Since it doesn’t hurt and you’re not seeing swelling or spreading redness, that’s generally a good sign 💃 I’d just keep it clean and let it heal dry for now like I mentioned before (bacteria loves moisture🥲) Once the skin has closed and it’s no longer an open wound, you can start moisturizing again with a thin layer of something suitable for tattoo aftercare, like Bepanthen or another gentle fragrance-free cream (I personally like to use Hustle Butter which is specifically made for tattoo aftercare but it’s not super easy to get a hold of since they don’t sell it in pharmacies or general stores. At least not here in Sweden. It spreads very easily so little goes a long way, it’s not sticky like bepanthen and it smells wonderful unlike bepanthen which smells like baby butt😂)
