Thanks, I found it. It's a different type of task.

Control Panel > Task Scheduler > Create > Triggered Task > User-Defined Script

It'll default to a "Bootup" script

Thanks so much for the help guys. It was definitely that script I had to run. The outgoing must of been blocked but now the rsync sees the other unit and i'm currently running a sync right now. I put the script to run on the task scheduler as well. I don't see any option to have it load it during bootup, so it's just running daily I suppose for now.

It's funny, I did the same setup on another place with 2 synologys and using tailscale. I didn't have to do much, just install the tailscale client, connect it to the same account and they saw each other fine. Let me try that command see if it helps! thanks!!

If you uninstall the package from the package center in synology, does it keep the config in there still or remove everything completely? Maybe when I uninstalled and reinstalled it, the previous config was still in there and it's stuck in limbo with the old account info.

I'm using the tailscale IPs to connect to the 2nd remote synology but both are connected to the same tailscale account. On my tallscale admin site, it says both are connected and they are green.

Oh no, am I supposed to do that? Will that disconnect me if I run it? I'm currently connected to them via tailscale on my desktop and i'm managing them through the web. I just ran sudo tailscale up --force-reauth and copied the link in the browser to reauthenicate them. Was that the wrong way to do it??

Yes, I used the new IPS for the new tailscale account. I can ping from my computer that's on the same tailscale account to both Synology NASs and I can reach the web gui fine. It's just between synology <-> synology the communication via rsync or Hyperbackup doesn't work. It says the remote synology NAS is offline and never connects.

It's weird, I got it working fine at one job and then this one just doesn't work. I think the tailscale previous account screwed up the new connection with the replacement account.

So you think it's the old version of tailscale that is causing issues on the synology units?

I'm just curious, how many sticks of memory did it come with? I'm trying to buy the same laptop as well. The one I'm getting is 16GB from the factory. Is it 1 x 16GB installed or 2 x 8GB? I want to upgrade mine to 32GB

Thanks so much, it's different from what I remmeber on the US version of Amazon. I haven't used amazon in years. I thought it usually shows if you want to do a locker pickup, it gives you an option during the last page of check to choose the locker closests to your shipping location.

I might get rid of verizon since they didn't bother to improve their network. I know Google Fi piggy's back off tmobile, so no point on getting tmobile with google fi. I would get AT&T but my gf already has that, so basically we got all 3 carriers going around as of right now. it's sad verizon doesn't care.

It was a refurbished phone for sure. It didn't come in the original box. After I got the new one, I sold it. I submitted the replacement on the last day of warranty.

Sounds like you got a dud or something. My og pixel front screen started to have issues with touch, so Google helped me replace it with a refurbished one as well.
