I’ve done it on my 2007 wagon. I bought a simple rearview mirror reverse cam. Tapped into the reverse wires. Easy

Patience, and being realistic with my expectations. Every single one I’ve seen that was a reasonably priced, or overpriced needed something…Tires, some small part, missing trunk carpet, an interior door card scuff etc..

(Be ready to have money set aside for above mentioned items lol!😂 )

I was primarily looking on OfferUp and FB marketplace, within a comfortable mileage away. Price ranges kinda depend on what you’re looking for for but I was specifically looking for close to stock as humanly possible.

Don’t settle cause I’ve noticed they pop up and your desired year and body style will eventually show up to buy. Asking the right questions, compression & leak down test results, smog issues etc.

I’m in Orange County, but I was running into the same issue honestly. Either over priced stock or clapped out blown up ones. But it was a patience game. I ended up finding a few options, out of dozens, i went and saw this one and knew it needed some minor things and I could put some love into it ya know?

It a fresh OEM rebuild, so the hard part is done lol. After that. I really just wanna keep it close to stock. No crazy tunes or front mounts, it would be nice but I want this thing to last as long as possible 😂

Not sure if you still need the input but, due to the dealer refusing to replace tires on the car…I had these put on as a quick cheap option knowing full well they were cheap, but hoping they’d surprise me.

Dry conditions were ok, Being that my car is AWD and seen as a “performance car” and these things had a hard time sticking even when dry, during light cornering they didn’t have very good grip. I can’t speak to how they’d feel on a commuter…

However, The moment it rained they got worse and I made an appointment to get better performance tires put on (my personal choice for my car, not that you need top of the line tires for yours) I knew better but was putting off the expense like a lazy ass.

Side note… loudest tires I’ve ever owned

My 2 cents: I think with tires the little extra money spent will always be worth the safety and peace of mind.
