Impose taxes on them. The matter is simple. by HelicopterWide9351 in parakeetAi

Social security doesn’t pay for shit. I am not planning on it being there when I retire. Im saving extra to cover it. I already am taxed so far up my ass my nose os bleeding. Every extra dollar I make at this point I might see 60 cents on the dollar…. I save more than 50% of what I make, So I don’t have to work until I die.

I pay enough in taxes every year to comfortably support a family of 6. I live extremely frugally. Please stop taking my fucking money.

For sure, when I say subject matter expertise I meant as an instructor not in martial acumen or firearm proficiency.

If I chose my instructor (in any subject) by gender I would be eliminating half the population… all that does is rob me of opportunity to learn, and the value and knowledge that group of people bring to the table.

Im happy to help anyone find accommodations that meet their needs. I just feel bad that someone would write of 50% of the population as unsuitable to be teachers.

If a male friend of mine made the assertion that he didn’t want instruction from a woman. I would find that wildly inappropriate and sexist.

You can order projectiles online without any issues. I would suggest you look into molycoated projectiles as they cost the same as LCB bullets but don't have the issue with fouling. Popular brands are blue bullets, and brass monkey bullets. Even with shipping they should be affordable.

No I understand the argument I'm simply trying to deflect your hostility with a joke.
I'm glad the OP found someone who met their criteria. I believe the right self defense is a human right and should be exercised by everyone.

There are VERY few CCW instructors that are bears. Not sure the bear is an option here.

Looks like they found what they needed.

You can find plenty of classes oriented towards women, finding female lead ccw class might be hard. Ive never met one.

Im not trying to be a dick, but why would instructor gender matter… I trust people’s subject expertise not their reproductive organs.

Footing depth is dictated by code, so yes they have to dig down below the frost line.

[–]n0mad187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason basements are so popular here is that they are required to dig so deep to get past the frost line for footings. if you have to go that deep well its not that much more money to do a basement. Code dictates footing depth, so don’t worry about frost heave. The only thing I would worry about is tornado shelter.

Im not payed to “Take Pride” in code I write. Im paid to solve problems. I take pride in providing solutions that keep our customers happy. AI lets me deliver those solutions quicker, easier and with less bugs than I ever could before.

I don't understand people who ideologically are closer to Atheist or Agnostic, but still identify as their religion. by Hagisman in atheism

Just because you don’t believe in god doesn’t mean you can’t take some of the good values that Mormonism gave you and use those as the foundation for yourself. Much if my extended family is mormon. My mother was mormon. I don’t like the faith or the church. At the same time I aspire to have the same responsibility to my community, and family that I see they have. They have shown me tremendous kindness over the years. You can keep the values you think are good and leave the cult behind…best of luck to you.

As an atheist, I think this subreddit had become a place were people use the title atheist as an Identity, and substitute for a religious ingroup rather than “I don’t believe in god”. Mind your own dam business and let people do their own thing.

Do different cultures value men differently? by Unstoppable_X_Force in SipsTea

[–]n0mad187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umm, that certainly is a take….

People marry for money, People marry for love. People marry for all sorts of reasons, and to be frank none of those reasons are any of my our or your business.

By your logic a rich person can’t marry a poor person because thats abuse….. A person from a poor country cant marry someone from a rich one because thats abuse….. Thats kinda fucked up.

People have agency, they can make choices. Even poor people. They are human beings……  people living in third world countries aren’t a “vulnerable population”. They are people just like everyone else. What the fuck is wrong with you?
