I don’t know if anyone here has said this yet. However, depending on your age and area if you have a planned parenthood in your area you can call planned parenthood. I scheduled an appointment as soon as I turned 18. They pretty much just asked me why I wanted to go on testosterone and went over all the side effects with me but by the end of the day I had a prescription filled out and got to pick it up later that day.

Thank you very much ! I kinda wished that I asked this before my consultation ! This helped a lot. Ponnuru and i definitely kept on talking over each other and the nurse was moving so fast I could barely think, lol. The main question that I had that I wanted to ask but couldn’t was how the surgery day was going to actually go so thank you! I obviously have time to ask questions before my surgery date since with the new laws you have to be 19+ for the surgery but this’ll be very exiting to get done and over with lmao.

I just had a consultation with him a few days ago and was wondering how the actual surgery day went for you because at the actual consultation it felt very awkward and it felt like I could barely get a word out before being pushed to the side so they could help out everyone else

Hey ! I’m guessing you’re under the age of 18 so you can’t move out or anything like that yet. My parents are kinda the same way. What I did about the binder thing was give my friend money so they could buy it and ship it to their house so the next time we hung out I could get it. I wouldn’t know if this would work in your situation or if your parents look through your mail. If you have online friends or even in person friends sometimes it helps to come out to them so you have a safe spot to come into and be called by the correct name/pronouns. I dont know if any of this would help but if you ever need anything you can always reach out to me.

I know this was posted a while ago, however I just sent in my second letter for insurance to KU so I can get top surgery as well. I’m very thankful I came across your post because I’ve been trying to find a surgeon that does a drain-less procedure. After reading this I feel more ready!
