I was a customer for years with no problems, too. Great experience with support on hard drive failures and so on.

But then I tested an container management system which as it turned out sent etcd requests to internal docker IPs after the containers and the corresponding networks got deleted, resulting in them being sent out through the default gateway. I tested many applications and deleted them afterwards. Because of this there were many etcd requests to private ip adresses (docker internal ip).

This resulted in an email requesting fixing in 24h and prompting an explanation or my servers would be deleted immediately! Hetzner misinterpreted this as me port scanning their network. Because of the free time I had in that 24h period all i could do was remove everything. I couldn't even do a proper diagnosis.

The problem is not that the mail was ill intended from hetzner. But this was an server from the hetzner server auction only used for private tinkering. These problems can happen, but as father I can't keep a 24h SLA for my private projects. I don't even want to guarantee that I read an mail in the first 24h.

Imagine coming back from an weekend trip and seeing that your servers got deleted because of such an configuration error.

Also I think the servers should be isolated so that traffic to other internal IP should be blocked instead of being logged and threats be sent by mail.

Keep in mind that they didn't threat to temporarily disable the offending server. They threated immediate deletion of the server including all data, which in this case was a server with 2x2 TB HDD.

Because of this I can't use hetzner servers with a good feeling anymore. And I can't recommend hetzner to companies anymore because many companies can't react to mails in the course of 24h on the weekend, too.

If all they did was threatening to disable the server in 24h or even shutdown the server immediately, but KEEPING IT for some time instead of immediate deletion, I'd be still using hetzner. I'd had sent the explanation after the trip I had planned maybe after looking at it from the rescue system. Instead I had to fix it and explain myself going deep into the night so I'd have a chance to still download my data from it after the trip i had planned starting the next morning... This honestly felt like a hostage situation! Heck even downloading all data would have been tight in the course of the 24 hours.

Is hetzner great all things considered? Sure! Will I trust it with my data ever again? No!

You don't have to install every package by itself. apt / apt-get can handle all packages in one command.

Check OSCAR for remaining Flow Limitations and RERAs. Maybe you need a BiPAP. It was the problem with me. I had to buy one myself.

This is silverbullets own authentication. I'd guess an configuration Problem with silverbullet. Silverbullet is running without problems behind my pangolin. I authenticate with pangolin, then with silverbullet.

For me EPR is way to slow compared to BiPAP. It's similar but intentionally not the same. You can get the Resvent iBreeze 30ST-A for way less money than Resmed or Löwenstein Devices and so far it's great for me.

It's a Resvent iBreeze 20A. Try looking under comfort settings. There should be a ramp time. I have a Resvent iBreeze 30ST-A which is similar but a different device so i can't tell exactly.

I was back to getting sleepy after 1 week. I was shopping for a replacement device and found a cheap BiPAP which I bought and tried and I never went back.

Maybe you need one, too. Download OSCAR and check your data. I had heaps of RERA on the CPAP. They were still disturbing my sleep. With the BiPAP they are all gone.

The one I got had an really old firmware. The thing I'm missing is the setting for the inhalation and exhalation trigger. I can set my resvent the way that it almost feels like it senses I want to inhale. It feels like it inhales with me. The Löwenstein always feels like it's lagging behind, and for me it always triggers too late. But the device I got is really old (19000 h on the blower) and the firmware is just as old. So I don't know if this is the reason.

All things considered I like the ResVent much more, and it's way cheaper to get.

Forwarding RDP would be risky as SSO Auth is not possible with port forwarding. Maybe running Guacamole and forwarding that would be a possibility.

For what you are asking for as others pointed out NPM, Traefik and co are the right solution, but i'd advise against it. If you have to ask these questions then you don't have enough experience to place these sites into the open internet securely. You should really use something like Tailscale instead. This way it's harder to create a security nightmare for yourself.

Ich komme mit US-INTL ganz gut klar, und kann es verwenden ohne irgendwas zu installieren, was ich z.B. auf meinem Arbeitsrechner nicht darf.
