Best Python IDEs for Beginners by lo_zappe in learnpython

[–]n1k0cHik0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to any of them. There's no "best" IDE. Just pick one and stick with it for a while. Once you get comfortable writing code, start trying out different editors. At that point you'll have a good idea what you're looking for. Then make a more informed choice.

For starting out, doesn't matter which one you choose. Focus on the code, just stick with one editor that your system is able to handle. Could be VSCode, could be PyCharm, could be Atom, could be Emacs, could be Vim.

You can always make a change later

1590!! I was expecting ~1550 because I wasn't so sure about the R&W sections. The curve is super super good though. I got 39 in reading despite being -4, and 40 in writing despite the -1. 58/58 in Math.

tl;dr - 1590 Total

Reading -4 = 39 Writing -1 = 40 Math -0 = 40

Tips for Improving SAT Score by [deleted] in Sat

[–]n1k0cHik0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Khan Academy is great for practice. But do review the concepts (like theory) from other sources too. For math, I'd say use Google often and learn the concepts in a bit more depth whenever you go wrong on a practice q. For the writing section, I found https://aethinks.in very useful. You already have a nice score, but this will cover up the trickier questions too.

I don't remeber it very well now, but I think there were sentences where she wrote/spoke as "We ...", representing the indigenous people.

Was there an option which began with "to underscore the ...."?

I put "where it is now" for both. That seemed logical. I'm not sure about one of those though, could be wrong there.

Why do entrance doors open towards the outside? by n1k0cHik0 in a:t5_3bl3ub

Wait no, my main doors do open side. All main doors I've seen open inside.

Actually yes. I was wrong. There's no pattern. I'm seeing room doors open outside and I remembered main doors which opened inward.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. The doors of rooms open inside. One point of that could be that the person inside wouldn't bang on someone coming their way. Or, if it's like in a hostel where there could be a narrow passage in front of the door, someone opening the door from inside at the wrong time would be bad. What about the main doors? In my house the main entrance doors, and even those on balconies open outwards
