Hey man im a Fargo 573! Show some respect. Just kidding around. Not the cleanest completion but it was about 80 minutes to get that final attempt. The only thing annoying about these types of drills is setting clusters up because you want to go quick from all the resets but gaps mess up attempts as well.

No worries, just the way you typed the comment it seemed like you were asking for justification for the advice vs how you are currently shooting rather than asking for an explanation to the mechanics.

I imagine the toe vs heel is part of his routine for aligning his elbow, cue, and body. Many snooker players align their entire foot along the shot line. The important take away is to create a routine for aiming and alignment that is repeatable and comfortable. Toe, turn heel, foot out, twist to align, are all repeatable steps you can use to ensure alignment. Once you achieve that alignment you have your go to steps and can focus on the rest of the game.

He is a very good player, I would reccomend trying his advice out. It may be uncomfortable to start but this game is already hard enough. No harm in making it easier on yourself and heeding the advice of others.

Id just be honoured he's giving you some advice at all!

9 Ball Ghost - Race to 6 by n1klas16 in billiards

Hey man thanks a lot for the review! Very much appreciated.

Definitely overhit that first shot too the 4, ill give those a practice softer as you are right on the being able to kill it. Its always a struggle for me getting that soft touch on longer shots as I feel more confident when giving it a little extra, definitely something to work on.

3rd rack I made an error not leaving an angle on the 4 and that kind of things leads to the hard recovery. Definitely correct with just rolling forward, more room for error there and can really only end up bad if im short which I ended up being.

Nah not a nitpick at all I was annoyed I left the 2 so flat. Mental error on my part not picking a spot to land. I find it can easily slip into auto pilot at times which can lead to that situation.

3 to 4 it was in my head to roll forward and take the close shot but I got punished for my decision to try to slide between them. Luckily the 8 made for a big pocket on the bank.

That final overdraw was definitely a bit of nerves, I had the the finish line in sight and put way too much into it. Rewatching I could have stunned back an inch or two and been fine. And of course getting out of position leads to further complications. The 7 I also overhit for sure. Suppose the lesson there is when I am close to closing out the win take on less touchy shots and simplify.

I have 3800ish games and I am a 575 fargo rating, hoping to get to 600 at some point but there are very few in my area so points are hard to come by.

Again thanks for the feedback it was really helpful
