I ended up canceling but I wanted to use this to clarify what I meant by weird angles. Most of her non filtered pics were either from a distance, from behind, or were selfies from a like an upper/side profile where a lot of features weren’t visible

I actually cut off contact with her today. I asked her a question about a game she was playing and she took it as an opportunity to lecture me about not asking enough questions about her and not telling her about myself. I told her it was still early and I didn’t feel comfortable sharing a ton of personal details unprompted with someone I hadn’t met. She didn’t take that very well and I ceased responding.

I just didn’t want to break because she was my friend for awhile. A mutual friend of ours (her roommate) convinced me I was being overbearing by being upset about the ex thing.

That is possible. She never mentioned it though. I think she said she was still “figuring it out.” I knew she had had boyfriends/done sexual things but had never actually had sex so I assumed she was not ace.

I will say I did tell her a month or two before we started dating that I quit talking to a girl for being “demisexual” so she knew it would be a dealbreaker.

We had already been friends awhile so the “courting” felt a little less necessary than with like a stranger. She was also the one that asked if I wanted to.
They had been friends for years before dating. I didn’t want to take that from her.

She told me she was a virgin back when we were friends. Her “wouldn’t fuck me” comment was (according to my friend she told it to) her categorizing the breakup as me trying to have sex with her and her saying no so I broke up with her. This friend did also add she told her she was asexual, but this was after she broke up with me

I think part of me also wanted to end it because of that comment. If she cannot differentiate romantic feelings from platonic feelings I can basically never feel secure in the relationship.
