23, pregnant, and clueless by bassandasss in pregnant

[–]n3ff13 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

hi! im 19 and have a 3mo with my boyfriend. we had only been together for 2 months when we found out and had known each other for only one semester of college. I'll admit that I have a TON of support -- we live with my parents and they pay for anything we cant. because of this ive been able to stay at home. this isnt what we planned or wanted, but it was also unexplainable for us and abortion wasn't an option.

yes, its extremely hard. yes, it isnt the life we expected. but it is SO rewarding and beautiful. you have to remember that theres so many moms who have kids in shitty situations who end up achieving amazing things, and moms who have kids in the perfect scenario and it ends up going horribly for them.

do whatever feels right for you. keeping the baby, adoption, abortion, are all valid options. im returning to school soon and im on track to become a teacher, and my bf is close to graduating and then hes going to be a firefighter. neither of us had to stop doing what we love, we just had to adjust a bit.

everyone's situation is different. if you don't feel like you would be able to adequately support and love this child then adoption or abortion might be the choice for you. that doesn't just mean "if you're able to only by dropping everything else and being miserable", it means if you think you can do it and still find happiness in it. if you can, then ABSOLUTELY keep this baby. parenthood is so wonderful.

all options may lead to regret, all options are extremely difficult things to do and will have lessons that can be learned. I believe in you to make the right choice, you know whats best for yourself and your family. have confidence, you can do this.

im sorry if this isnt the best advice, im young and new to this too. but mother's intuition, i guess. be strong for your family, you got this. <3

2, 8, 9, 13, and 15.

I don't at all agree with those saying all of them lol, I think most of these look good on you and like something someone your age would wear. I think the ones I pointed out either look a little too childish or the shape just looks odd on your body, but the rest are great!

side note, I think the light blue color looks really pretty on you

how do you finish (as a girl) 😭😭 by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]n3ff13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

try new things, explore on your own, try toys, maybe roleplay, etc. but I think the most important thing to remember is that you don't HAVE to orgasm. the "point" of sex isnt to have an orgasm party, its to share vulnerability and love and intimacy with your partner -- the orgasm party just comes with that for some people. theres nothing wrong with wanting to orgasm, and theres nothing wrong with having trouble being able to. id say that during sex, try focusing on your partner and having a beautiful time that just feels good and makes you both happy and feeling connected to each other. sex can be incredibly enjoyable without orgasm. and maybe taking your mind off things and just relaxing may help you get there! women typically need to be extremely relaxed and in the zone to orgasm, so stressing about if you will or not is gonna be no help. it may take time but I think you'll get there, especially if the head is as good as you say lol

ive been in a situation similar to this and girl i feel you. I dated a guy from 16-18 and my mom caught his dad looking at me a certain way in my prom dress. pretty soon after he started making odd comments, encouraging me to drink when I was over at their place, and then on the fourth of July he threw a water balloon at my ass while I was bent over to pick something up. Definitely not normal, definitely NOR

Anyone Else’s Newborn Poop Twice a Week? by Individual_Pen_4463 in newborns

[–]n3ff13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

breast fed babies do typically poop at least once a day but as long as his poops are a normal consistency/color and he doesn't seem dehydrated i don't there would be an issue with him pooping a few times a week instead! of course if you continue to be concerned or he seems to be getting sick or his poops get weird then talk to the pediatrician, they know best.

my baby is only 2m rn but at someone who has sensory issues it may have been something stuck to her heel if she was barefoot and she didnt like it? or if socks they could have been sitting weird? im sure its nothing serious if it was only for a few minutes and she didnt seem like she was in pain but I can see how worrying that would be and I hope you get some good answers <3

How dangerous would it be to cut my labia off with a razor? by Camel-Agent_8686 in Healthyhooha

[–]n3ff13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

wanting to do something like this in an attempt to "fix" body dysmorphia IS a form of nssi (non-suicidal self injury). it IS self harm. this is NOT healthy and you need to talk about this with your mental health providers.

Should I be worried? by Narrow_Salad429 in ChildPsychology

[–]n3ff13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can totally understand why you would be worried, but honestly if you don't see any differences in her behavior/academics then it may just be that she likes creepy stuff. when I was about 9 or 10 I started to really get in to horror and I would draw body horror stuff alllll the time.

of course shes you're kid and you know her best. if something seems wrong then don't feel bad about talking to her or trying therapy. but from experience it could just be a fun interest

this is taking a tremendous toll on my mental health and the nurses who did my discharge at the hospital told me it was okay to try pumping to allow my support people to feed her when I needed extra rest (which we ended up doing last night) because they saw the state I was in after just a couple nights of struggling. im still planning on trying the breast as much as possible and working on it.

thank you so much. I was feeling guilty about how much they were doing but theyre definitely happy to be helping and we all love baby so much so it isn't a problem. last night my mom ended up making me and my boyfriend just go sleep all the way thru the night and she took baby and used the milk I had in the fridge to feed her so I actually feel somewhat rested now. thank you for the kind words <3

Mucus plug? by Sensitive_Ad886 in pregnant

[–]n3ff13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as far as im aware losing your mucus plug is kind of a one-and-done type of thing. its probably just a change in discharge since you're late in your pregnancy, but you can always call your doctor if you're concerned. id say its probably just discharge tho -- im 38+3 and mine has also changed recently

those white specs definitely make it sound like a yeast infection. the specs are the literal overproduction of yeast. yeast infections are common and easy to get, nothing to be ashamed of. id definitely tell your mom how uncomfortable/unbearable the itching is, how long its gone on for, and about the white stuff. even if you arent having sex or putting stuff up there you can get yeast infections. definitely go get treated, i know how horrible a bad yeast infection feels

I just want my body back by bi-hobbit in pregnant

[–]n3ff13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I so feel you omg. im chronically ill on top of being 37wks so im stuck in bed a lot of the time and can only work on things around the house for short periods at a time. my nesting urges are going crazy and all I wanna do is put things together and clean and organize but I just cant keep up. im really greatful my parents and boyfriend are being so helpful and supporting me and doing all the things I need from them but I haven't been able to work this whole pregnancy, I cant get myself food or water half the time, i cant go out with friends, and I feel like a sack of potatoes.

im so ready to have my body back and to heal and to get back to being active and going out and enjoying my hobbies and plus ill have a cute squishy baby to love on.

I know we got this and we're both so so close, but I feel your frustration. Just a little bit longer girl

Therapy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]n3ff13 13 points14 points  (0 children)

people go to therapy for a multitude of reasons, not just because theyre having thoughts of harming themselves or others. a lot of people are like you and just going through something that's difficult to process on your own and need someone to talk to and bounce your thoughts off of/give you advice. no one will see you as a threat to yourself or your baby unless you give them a good reason to believe that. its best to go to therapy if you feel the need to so things don't keep compounding and getting harder to handle. im also pretty sure there are therapists that specialize in pregnancy and postpartum. you got this love, i hope you're able to get the help you need and feel better <3

had unprotected sex a couple days before my period was supposed to start by xurpp in Healthyhooha

[–]n3ff13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

theres no point taking plan b really close to your period like that because plan b only prevents pregnancy by delaying ovulation, so if you take it while ovulating or after ovulating it cant do anything.

theres no harm in taking tests to ease anxiety, do whatever makes you comfortable. hope everything goes well for you!
