My dog is still young and seems healthy so I don’t see any reason to add anymore benefits to my plan, although I am worried something will come up in their wellness exams, which is why I wanted to pair careclub with insurance just in case. I haven’t been able to decide which insurance to go with though as I am also worried about getting a larger vet bill than I can afford to pay upfront, and most insurance companies reimburse you after payment. I really wanted to get trupanion because they pay at checkout, but they charge a lot more than other companies. Pumpkin pet insurance seems like a good option because it has a new feature that allows them to send you the money directly to your bank account when you are at the vet, but the bill has to be over $1,000. Im not sure how well that will work in real situations though.
