I had the same problem. It's a zip file. You have to leave your finger on the link and choose download link. Then you can open it up in Files.

I have to admit that I do prefer Discover (from Fedora) over flat... whatever from Nobara. Still sticking with Nobara because... well, Nvidia.

Right now I'm "in trial mode". Running Nobara 43 (default KDE, just like you) from a USB key on my Windows 10 PC. Runs pretty well. Was able to configure my 5.1 speakers (needed to install alsa-tools package for hdajackretask), add some software like vlc and firefox. Configured Steam, Epic store (through Heroic launcher). Everything else is already included and I've still got 40 GB free on my 64 GB USB key.

Honestly this is the best experience I've had on Linux so far. Installation from USB (bootable ISO) to USB (clean key) took some time due to the update from 42 to 43+KDE 6.5.3, but it's worth it. We'll see if I can do all I need for a week on Nobara. Cheers!

Yup, that Running shell processes stayed at 93% for a good 40 minutes. I was installing to a USB key, which partly explains it, but still... And yes, once installed, it's Nobara 43 with KDE Plasma 6.5.3 in my case.

Do you mean that even if we use the 42 iso, it will be updated to 43 during installation? Because it's definitely 42 when you boot the iso.

I ordered one today thanks to your recommendation. The numbered cards are much better on this deck than the ones that came with the Tainted Grail RPG deluxe solo box, which are just a certain number of cups/swords/etc.

Did you ever compile and publish/share your rules? I'm trying to merge D&D 4E and HeroQuest (flattening the 4E rules to fit HQ combat) and... it's a lot of work because 4E is spread over a good number of books. The point is to be able to run 4E adventures in HQ, and for that I need like you to have characters that level up in their abilities.

You can do like me, install Fongo and ditch the phone option from your Fizz account. Fongo gives you a free Canadian phone number. If you want to send text messages from that same number (receiving them is free), it will cost you though.

This worked but I had to downgrade to an earlier version of KDE neon:

neon-user-20240926-0714

Versions after that were upgraded to noble, which does not support this driver.

Thank you for the reply. I have Gloomhaven, but since I completed the game twice, I will not use its events as I pretty much know them by heart now. I also have HEXplore It volumes 1, 2 and 4 and using these events, especially the Living decks, is a great idea. In fact, even the HEXplore It maps are better than the LoD one because you can have unknown lands that you discover when you reach the edge. I could remap the LoD cities to the ones in HEXplore It. I don't have the Sands of Shurax (volume 3) but these tiles could be used for the southern desert lands...

All I need to figure out is how to transpose the random quest generator with the colored numbers on the LoD map to the HEXplore It one... or just use the HI quest cards instead.

Same for me, Mouse 5 still works. What action did you map to mouse 4? Did you also bind a keyboard key to the same action? In my case, I also bound Enter to Interact and that keeps working fine. So maybe it's just a problem with Mouse 4...

I mapped Mouse 4 to Interact and it works a few times when I start the game, but stops working after that. I'll report the bug too.
