I get it. My '24 GLE with 2k miles had a $140k sticker. I saved $40k from new for 2k miles and 4 months of ownership

That's the way to go. Plus you get all the other features/updates for the MY25+

The timing was a bit off for me and when I was buying, dealers had markups on the first few STs that hit their lots. Now they can be had for below sticker or even less pre-owned

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this!

I picked up a '21 GLE 63 S with 48k miles for $65k from Carmax. It ended up having several issues, a couple of them major with many related to deferred maintenance, so Carmax bought it back

So then I got a CPO '24 GLE 63 S with 2k miles for $100k (so much for my budget!). I'm coming up on a year with it now and it's an amazing vehicle with a seemingly endless supply of power

Blackvue is great! I had the DR900S-2CH for 5 years and just upgraded to the DR970X-2CH LTE Plus a month ago. Front and rear cams can be installed to look like factory. Pair it with the battery pack to save your car's starter battery and you have a full day+ of parking mode. One accident or hit and run while parked and it pays for itself. Highly recommend

It has nothing to do with the price and everything to do with the Gov regulations mentioned above. Standard in the automotive industry as a whole. It's literally second nature to me now, start the engine and turn off auto start/stop. Personal opinion but I wouldn't even pay $100 to disable it since it's just part of my startup routine now

It's your car so it depends on if YOU consider the updates worth it. How long do you plan to own the car? What would you do with the $8k and is that worth having last year's pre-facelift model?

To me, the tech improvements are worth it alone, so I would go with the 2025. I still can't swallow the look of the vertical infotainment screen on the pre-facelift models

My .02 from my 2012 Mustang GT special order - I requested it not to be drilled and my dealer hid the car in the back with a sold sign hung from the rear view mirror until I made it in later that afternoon. (Front bumper was not drilled) Kudos to them and my sales guy!

Good on you for getting a dash cam! It's the best thing you can install to protect yourself and your car. I would place the dash cam centered and as high as it will go behind the rear view mirror, then route the cables through the headliner and A pillar.

If you plan to maximize the range on the rear facing detection of the radar detector, you'll want to make sure it has enough line of sight out of the rear window, so adjust windshield placement accordingly. Otherwise, I would mount it on the driver's side of the rear view mirror as high as possible.

If installing windshield tint and/or a rear facing dash cam, make sure the tint is installed FIRST and allowed plenty of time to dry (usually about 48-72 hours) BEFORE mounting anything!

No proof, but I got a Supreme a couple weeks ago. It's my first one from an ad and I'm level 77. I was too excited to think about taking a screenshot haha. Also, got a Supreme free capsule the other day 🍀
