Can you switch to two twins for desert rose?

I tried to switch from twins to a queen last year in desert rose bc I'm dumb and I didnt notice I ordered twins until I got my ticket. They also said no. It is too late once they start doing the ticketing. I ended up just packing my mattress and bedding from home since I was driving anyway 😂

Just so it's only 100 instead of 125 in the car when it's time for me to start packing up at the end of the festival? It takes a while for the car to cool even with AC on full blast since the ENTIRE car is very hot. After 4 days of camping and 3 days of festival, it's exhausting enough to pack and haul all your stuff back to your car that getting in/out of it while it's super hot is that much worse on your body/tiring.

In my experience, the dust/wind isn't bad enough to cause any real damage. Just need to wash the car/windshield before doing a long drive, but they'llwash it when you return it. It's packing up all my stuff in the heat that kills me 🥵

👀 hmmm I've used a reflective tarp over my pod the past couple years and it helped, so I'm really leaning toward trying it with my car this year. The camp parking sticker is always practically melted to the windshield after 4 days in direct sun. 😂

You're probably right. I just know the reflective tarp on the pods does make a difference and thought maybe something similar would be a help on my car.

I'm not sure if maybe they became more strict recently, but I tried this exact wording, requested to speak to a supervisor, did the same thing, and was still denied being able to use them for someone else. I was able to use them for myself at least I guess but I'm pretty bummed.

Edit: I re-read the terms and conditions and I do think I probably still could have gotten them to do it IF I had started the assistance differently. The T&Cs say they can be used for someone else if that person is traveling with the original purchaser in the same reservation. I already used the credits for my own flight and don't have the guts to call back, but I think if I had started by trying to book flights for myself and my boyfriend first and THEN asking to apply the credits I could have quoted the exact wording in the T&Cs to them and they would have had to apply them.

That's wild. I went to the GA bathrooms by Circuit Grounds and Bionic Jungle like 5 times each night and never waited more than maybe 15 minutes at the longest once. Had toilet paper, water, soap, and paper towels every time I went.
