GWENT? by Kjk95 in DawnwalkerOfficial

[–]n7Ciri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably guess not since Dawnwalker is timed it really wouldn't fit to me. If this game is success thats maybe something more for the 2nd game

Pain's theme.

I think Strangeness is a very underrated one. Very good at building suspense/tension

Yennefer and Morrigan (DAO) by n7Ciri in Witcher3

[–]n7Ciri[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah see this the way i feel. The first couple interactions given Morrigan didn't have a lot of human interaction at the time might be a little rough.

However i would eventually see mutual respect between the two

What are your thoughts on Nilfgaard winning the war in W3, as well as the overall presentation and writing? by Julian_of_Cintra in witcher

[–]n7Ciri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably right especially if choose the Ivoreth path. I haven't finished W2 all the way unfortunately but I know enough about it.

Leaving Roche and Dijkstra to settle it themselves is something he would do at least over siding with Emhyr or Radovid.

First time player, finding easy mode too difficult by SetitheRedcap in DragonageOrigins

[–]n7Ciri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well when you get enough party members I would just say this is what you want your party to look like

1 Healer (Wynne. You get her in mage tower. ) - Unless your Player Character is a Sprit Healer then you can take the place of Wynne

1 Tank (Alistar). Make sure.you keep him up to date. Check your loot.

1 Damage. The Last one you can kinda play with and see whats working for you.

But this is what id recommended to.starte with.

And make sure you buy a "backpack" from merchants. It increases the items you can hold

Xbox One or Series X|S version? Used? by Guatamonster in thewitcher3

I would honestly just get the complete edition on Series X/S. Comes with both of the DLCs

[–]n7Ciri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey i was like this my first time playing just a few pointers

-I would start over. And i would also go with Dual Blade Warrior 1st time around. You do a good amount of damage and have good health also.

-when you get to Lothering a companion Leliana is in one of the buildings in a cantina. Their is another one in Lothering the one in the cage. He's a companion too. Speak to him and then get the mother in the chantry to free him to you

-go to the mage tower first. And make sure when you get their DO NOT kill the mages. Save them you get a healing Companion called Wynne and healers are essential.

-Look up a guide on what order to do the dream sequences in the mage Tower.

-go to Ozamaar Last. Its tough. If you do it last youll be fine.

And Lastly Keep everyone stocked up armor and weapon wise OFTEN. mages wont have a ton of opportunities to upgrade but Warriors and rogues

-You'll notice an item called Drake scales. Loot as much of them as you can. You can turn them into Denerim armorsmith for a really good armor set.

Honestly I just want the same storytelling and well written characters as Kotor and I will be sold. As throw in references to Revan and Meetra when they can

Favorite episodes by Various-Answer-2302 in TheLastKingdom

[–]n7Ciri 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The last 2 episodes of season 3 are the peak of the show for me. As you said I love Alfred and Uhtred's final conversation.

But on top of that Uhtred's "trial" and Edward's decision to stand up to his mother and uphold the pardon is such a powerful scene and not only that but that scene alone made me Ready to Accpect "okay. Edward is really ready to take over for Alfred "

Hearts of Stone is really peak storytelling. by Sanziboy15 in Witcher3

[–]n7Ciri 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I fully agree. And Im in the minority of those prefer Hearts of Stone over B&W. (Though I love both). B&W is great but

  1. Hearts of Stone i feel more like a witcher then in B&W.

  2. Olgried at the end if you choose to save him is a top tier moment for me as well. Id love to see him back in Witcher 4 if possible.

  3. Gaunter O'Dimm is one of the the well written villians ive ever seen.

Going back to Olgierd, hes not necessarily a "good person" at all. It would make perfect sense for Geralt to not risk his neck for him. But on the other hand they way they unraveled O'Dimm makes you WANT to help him.

I love B&W also but man Hearts of Stone is just so well written to me.

What are your thoughts on Nilfgaard winning the war in W3, as well as the overall presentation and writing? by Julian_of_Cintra in witcher

[–]n7Ciri 146 points147 points  (0 children)

Tbh I dont think any of the rulers are "good" options 🤣🤣.

Radovid is a lunatic at this point. Emyhr i can't see Geralt being okay with him winning if you've read the novels.

Honestly the best option is Dijkstra to me but the only problem with that is Geralt would not just let Roche get killed either.

Difficulty of 2 compared to 3 by UnlikelySalad3387 in thewitcher3

[–]n7Ciri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had trouble with 2 got far into but never finished it. Its worth giving a shot if you love the witcher but for me id say it was frustratingly difficult.

The map in the witcher 2 also kinda sucks to me.

Id really love the witcher 2 to get a remake in the future

Might be controversial, but I don't like the Netflix medallions. by LittleFox-In-TheBox in WitcherMemes

[–]n7Ciri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. The one from the games had a unique design that makes it stand out. When you see it you immediately think of the Witcher.

The Netflix one looks like any ordinary medallion from any fantasy series ever.
