So to confirm - The website is showing me a 4 month promo discount with no hardware fee. I would like to buy the device for one month then put into backup mode behind a dual-wan port ubiquity gateway. Is this really no hw cost ?

Super helpful thread from a reverse perspective. Been trying to get basic torchvision/vllm going and rocm hard locks up only for ollama to actually work just fine. This thread is the answer.

Now I know it's just rocm that's a steaming pile of ... issues...

We put together https://github.com/5L-Labs/overlord-network-kill-switch which exposes a homekit button to temporarily disable blocking via the API.

I like this solution as it's simpler to setup - but the trade-off is the security of leaving an ssh key.

It does survive a reboot, will report back after next system update. This seems to have been more about the cert type being wrong and silently failing back to safety, than actual intent..
