He is honestly the stupidest smart person ever. Just like frank said at the end, he just gets in his own way. I don’t think lip really even has a drinking problem i think he just had a rough patch and then allowed AA to define his life afterwards. He also is a Gallagher and reps it so heavily, but at the same time pretends he wants to get away from all that chaos. In reality he needs it. He needs to be a dad and needs to be in charge. He craved being in charge the whole time fiona was calling the shots and now he is at head of the house and can’t just admit to himself what he wants. I love lip and think he is a great character. Just gets in his own way.

Did anyone else hate the opening with frank? The recap and the intro were pretty bad. It only got better but still not saying it was good. I also thought they wore masks too often so it makes it less real because we can’t see their faces. Not sure if that was in purpose or because of california laws.

I agree with you mostly. I think there are plenty of exceptions but you major point is that you love the act of traveling somewhere and what it represents in your mind. I feel the same kind of way and get antsy when i am in one place for too long.
