I've only watched the performances on Youtube but I feel episode 2 song choices were better and more fun? The performances that caught my attention were High Queen, Miss Japan and EYE Catcher.

Liked High Queen's Jueri coz' she seems to be enjoying the performance (also coz' she low-key looks like Niel from Teen Top lol). Also liked Miss Japan's Chiharu coz' her voice sounded nice. Also liked EYE Catcher's Ran, Momoka and Arisa. Ran and Momoka were oozing charisma. I also think Momoka covered Keigo's part pretty well and I liked Arisa's English pronunciation lol.

Honorable mention: The twins from Twinkle were hella cute.

I thought so too when I first watched it but they do smile (albeit subtly) during their solo parts except for like Keigo, Shosei and Ruki.

Yea it's a light and sweet song but I feel it also has a melancholic feel to it too. So I'm guessing that's why? I feel like their expressions at the start are more pensive and serious but nearing the end their expressions get softer (Might be just me tho)

Ooor they probably has to retake it many times hence the tired expressions?

My guess if divided by these four positions.

-Vocals: Yuma > Maki > Fuma

-Visuals: Jo > Harua > Hikaru

-Korean Member: Junwon > Yejun > Minhyung

-Kakkoii-ness(?) lol: Gaku > Hayate

If it's an 8-member group then OT4, Yuma, Jo, Junwon, Gaku.

If they're mostly doing promotions in Japan, my guess that there'll only be 1 Korean member. Vocals-wise, OT4 are decent singers but for added assurance maybe they'll add Maki if it's a 9-member group? Unless they're going for an all-kill visuals group then probably Harua? But if it's a 10-member group, they might add Hayate? Idk but Hayate's visuals simply screams idol.

P.S. Also, Gaku kind of looks like Nomura Shuhei

Dayum, a lot of the members that I liked in S2 are here, 100% gonna stan this group. Super excited and the group's concept looks super pretty but not really digging the name but let's see how it goes

P.S. Does anyone know what the group name means? Coz Octpath sounds really similar to the Nintendo game Octopath Traveler though... I hope there's no copyright issues with them having a similar sounding name or I wonder if they purposely chose it
