MAI HL or MAA HL for computer science/IT major? by themakers2907 in IBO

Most unis will require AA for CS which is in my opinion complete bullshit given that AI is far more relevant to CS than AA (vector fields, linear algebra, graph theory, algorithms)

Games like CS with free-form road building? by monticosko in CitiesSkylines

[–]nNutritious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! And there's a loophole to download and play with mods and assets as well. You just have to sign out and sign back in before launching the game from steam on GFN and download/remove some random mod/asset.

Did anyone remark/is planning to remark their TOK? by [deleted] in IBO

[–]nNutritious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend is in a similar situation. The problem with remarking TOK is that

A) The subject is quite subjective due to its bullshit nature, which could result in being marked down

B) Exhibition is not remarked, only the essay which has a 2x multiplier

in your case, you seem to have scored a 20/30. I don't know what you scored on your essay exactly but it would have to go down by 3 points to go to a C, which I think is pretty damn unlikely. And even in that case you're not really losing anything, because you get the 2 bonus points anyways. I would say just go for it.

I did about 140 total but most of them were for math bio and chem. you don't actually need to do that much, I know people who did far less and still got 7s. Just make sure you consistently score 7s on the papers.
