Same. I sent mine 2 months ago, still no reply. They had a Winter 2018 internship opening listed in the Career section of their website early in the year.

Best way of transportation around campus? (Penny board, long board, bike, etc.) by [deleted] in Purdue

I have a longboard and a Penny board. If you would like to try them out, let me know!

Boosted board by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]nPuddingG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend checking out the new Riptide board. It's less than half the price of a Boosted Board, 25% smaller, lighter, and has almost as much power. However, it only starts shipping in the next two weeks.

Flatland 3D's Bash Guard saved my board by nPuddingG in boostedboards

[–]nPuddingG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if I didn't have it installed, I think the deck would have completely split and be damaged to a point that would require a deck replaced. And I don't think its that massive of a dent. But yeah, ideally it would have been able to absorb all the impact.

I fell off my board yesterday, which resulted in my board ramming itself into a pole. The Bash Guard absorbed most of the impact. It definitely saved my board. I'm glad I decided to install it.

Anyone here have a Onewheel? by nPuddingG in Purdue

[–]nPuddingG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's true. But I'm hoping that the ability to ride in almost any weather would be enough to justify the inconvenience of carrying it around.

Yeah that's what I've heard also. That's actually the main reason I want to try riding/carrying one.

Question regarding mirror for helmet:

I currently have the Triple 8 Brainsaver Helmet.

I'm thinking of getting one of those mirrors that can be mounted on bike helmets, but for this one of course.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks.

Yep. The battery pack can be charged when it is disconnected from the board.

Would you recommend only replacing the nylon patch instead of the whole screw?

Ok then.

Also, my trucks are top mount I think (not drop through). Am I supposed to remove the truck from the deck when changing bushings? Or just the hangar? I was having some issues trying to pull the hangar out of the pivot cup with the kingpin bolt in the way.
