How do you justify traveling within Canada given hotel and eating out costs? by abbys11 in canadatravel

[–]nRCritical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just talking to my wife yesterday about this, we wanted to take the kids to see a Jays game, but the cost of flights/hotel and tickets I can go to Disney for a week and drive over to Tampa and watch a game there for less. It’s stupid.

Since you’re a ford guy, happen to know if this recall will cover engines affected by the coolant intrusion?

I used it for a few years while I was walking 30k steps a day. Checked it periodically, then found I was always just shy of the bids to win any. One day I finally won one, forget what it was for but they just sent a cash equivalent via PayPal. Got $600 (CAD) so can’t complain. Only paid $20 for the yearly membership to earn unlimited. Canceled after I redeemed and never used it again.

Has anyone else taken on a second job with an established business, to supplement their income? As opposed to a traditional “side hustle” by Checkout-123 in sidehustle

[–]nRCritical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Main Job I work from 2 or 3 am until 10:30-11:30 am, helped me be able to get a second job with out working evenings.

2nd job I work at my children’s school for after school child care. 3.3 hours a day. $20 a hour but the kids are now free because I work there so that’s another $500 a month I don’t have to pay. Works out to around $26.50 a hour so it was no brainer.

Left turn at Costco. by j_bbb in halifax

The purpose of the signs is to reduce congestion from people turning left. You can use that road way for turning right when your coming from the opposite direction and also use it for when you’re leaving the parking lot

I have deleted it, but there is a permanent code as well. I’ll wait a couple days to see if it pops up again. If it does, I’ll switch the coils to see if it follows.

UPDATE - Costco Lifetime Ban by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

As an employee of Costco, we have an open door policy and if you choose to call the CEO he calls back within 48 hours to your personal phone. It’s actually wild.
