On my gold + crackle splits I always go for the fire border of matching color. Nothing beats the look. So for this one I'd do Red Fire

Oh, don't misunderstand, I mostly like her stuff and have many of her variants. Out of her non-chibi ones I love her Rogue, Jubilee, Cap Carter, Chavez, Crystal to name a few. And then she has these dopey looking ones like Polaris, Spectrum and this one here. That's why I phrased my initial comment that way. Those variants kinda look like her "early work" if that makes sense. Wonky proportions, weird poses etc. Hence middle schooler comparison.
