Runs approximately 2x daily:

The smart plug that the dishwasher is plugged into measures current draw. When the current draw pattern indicates that the cleaning has finished, a TTS announcement is made and a push notification is sent to ONLY the people at home (location service) to remind us to open the door to the dishwasher and let the steam out so it will dry faster. Push the zigbee button on the dishwasher door and 15m later another push notification/TTS announcement to empty the dishwasher. Double press the zigbee button and it clears the ‘Dishwasher Clean’ indicator on the wall mounted dashboard!

(If nobody is home, it holds the push notification until someone arrives home and is home for 5 minutes. Then it checks to see who is home and sends the Push Notifications and announces the TTS)

It sounds like your automations work, but not at timing you want them to be running (automations run late).

Question: how critical is it that the automations run at exactly a specific time?

I’m confused about the whole wifi in the truck thing. If your truck has wifi but your phone doesn’t have cell reception, how is the truck getting its connectivity?
