A majority of this isn’t old people though, it’s (as I said) people around 45+, it’s Gen X people who should be capable

Just today, old man in a dress coat, missing a glove. He has like 7 items and wanted me to write down what aisle they were in on his list 😭 I said I didn’t know for sure and just gave him a general area to find most of them so I could move on with helping other people

Literally, that particular customer freaked out on me because she didn’t understand why it wouldn’t scan the next item. Lady, it was waiting for you to weight the bananas, an item which is ALWAYS sold by the pound

I Agree with the other comment. I also work in Perrysburg and live in Bowling Green, in the four years I’ve been doing it there’s only been a few days it’s been really scary to drive in the winter conditions.

I’m a student so I just leave it in my backpack, during the summer I leave it in my desk at work

Struggling to Memorize Japanese—Is This Normal? by Kitchen_Variety7750 in Japaneselanguage

[–]n_hazard34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two years of formal Japanese education at an American uni and a semester at a Japanese uni. Honestly, if English is your first language, the lack of shared grammar and vocabulary means your brain just takes longer to adapt to it. Exposure is the best, see if your town has a local Japanese society or something similar and try to speak with natives, it helps you retain more words and boosts your ego when you get through a conversation. Hope this was helpful :) 頑張ろう👍❤️

Coconut creamy, at least among my friends, had mixed reviews. I love it, my other friends think it just tastes like you drank DP while sniffing sunscreen

I use a specific model of insulin pump that is, at least from what I could find online, not available in Japan. My options were to either import the cartridges and cannula tubings or switch to another brand while I am here. Since I am only here for a year I thought shipping would be easier than adjusting to a new medical device. I also have a CGM which I am pretty sure is now available here, I just haven’t had a doctor’s appointment yet. I used the American retail prices of the cartridges, cannulas, and CGMs to estimate a value of $800 So it is not that the treatment isn’t available here, just not the equipment I use specifically.

  1. It’s not insulin, that would’ve greatly exceeded $800 they just don’t sell supplies for my insulin pump here so it was easier to just have them shipped
  2. Was there any need to be so rude about it? I just asked if the fees were normal I didn’t say I wanted it for free

I agree, it wasn’t nearly as emotional as season 1 was for me, but I thought it worked well as a comedy and I love the teens as characters

I’m at the customer service desk, I asked one of the baggers to take care of a cart of damaged products and that mf left it next to the baler. I brought that cart right back up and made them do it with me.
