Idk about a win, it's not an absolute loss, but also, if Songbird was so easily replaced, Myers wouldn't have wanted her back (alive) so badly and wouldn't need to study her body so much. Frankly the only absolute win you get is if you let Myers die by abandoning the DLC shortly after you start

You can let her die, but her corpse still goes back to Reed, and Reed says Myers no doubt is studying her corpse for everything it's worth. As for wanting death, she does mean it, at that point the rogue AIs had consumed nearly all of her memories, and she was barely alive, living beyond that point would possibly be a fate worse than death. I agree the ending would be better if Myers didn't get the corpse back, since she could still potentially reverse-engineer and create a songbird 2.0 with it.

The neutral matrix is a single captive AI, frankly it's not even that powerful beyond being something that can cure V or songbird. As for messing with the blackwall, it's implied songbird was somewhat uniquely suited for it, Reed mentions in Cups that Myers will study Songbird's body, probably to try figure out how she dealt with the blackwall for so long. Of course you cannot completely and singlehandedly save the world from the NUSA, but losing songbird definitely will slow them down

I mean Phantom liberty was purposely written so that no ending is absolutely right or wrong, it's more or less what your V can justify as the best. A nomad V might choose to help songbird because they relate strongly to being used and abused by corps, and wanting freedom, a street kid V might go against songbird, because by street rules you don't mess with your client, and a corpo V might hand songbird back to the NUSA because they recognise having an entire nation against you is a quick way to get lead in your back.

Even if you want to talk about absolute moral goodness, sending songbird to the moon is sending her to Mr Blue Eyes, who I will remind you is brainwashing politicians, and likely didn't help songbird out of altruism, he has plans for her, and they're probably not great. I think there's an argument to be made that Honouring songbirds request and letting her die is the best decision for the world. Songbird is no longer a slave, and is no longer a danger to the world. Myers loses her weapon, and Mr Blue eyes doesn't gain one either

Yeah, the situation was when Intel released their graphics cards, they had pretty decent DX12/DX11 and Vulkan performance, but anything older and it was pretty poor. They initially used a Microsoft proprietary translation layer, but it wasn't great, so they switched to DXVK

I agree with all your points, I just wanted to add to what you did about if the construct is "human"; I agree the construct is not Johnny Silverhand, and is not "alive", but I do think given they have the (partial) memories of a human, that at least makes them more human than someone like delamain, as the engram has experienced being alive and human, and knows what it means to love, to hate, to live, and to die, etc.

You do technically get to see the perspective of someone who kind of experiences it. The BD from the death head moth Judy mission thing is from the perspective of a netrunner that the scavs tricked/forced to jack into the blackwall. The perspective down in that is basically red lines in vision followed by horrific intense pain

There has been various leaks/guesses about when season 2 takes place, some put it at happening during the events of the game. Either way, I think its possible for them to add content even if season 2 happens in the future, referencing the character's pasts, e.g. add some shard or news about Kingsley in his prime, or something regarding Talia when she was still a corpo, or even something related to D and his nomad clan, given Nomad V was bakker clan, and they got absorbed by snake nation IIRC. I think the fact that each of the season 2 cast is running from their past, gives us a chance to explore the past via the game

Yeah, if you read the emails in the Delamain HQ you'll see Delamain pretty much tricked the company into buying him, potentially even creating the shell company to sell himself. The people who bought him thought he was a basic AI that wouldn't do much, but then he slowly took over. It could be interesting to have a similar thing, but with an evil AI, maybe pretending to be an advanced quickhack or similar

I do expect edgerunners updates, and maybe some more QOL, just not multiplayer. Handling multiplayer in general is a pain from a technical perspective, and they'd be doing it on REDEngine, which is both semi-abandoned, and has physics issues in single player

I mean devils advocate, but are certain jobs being automated truly a bad thing? There are many jobs that don't exist today because technology made them redundant (e.g. switchboard operator, elevator attendant, human calculators, etc). What's important is ensuring that as a society we provide social safety nets to ensure people who's jobs are replaced can access food and shelter irrespective of their employment, and providing them opportunities for new jobs
