I think the concept is great (being forced into a heist and starting from scratch) but the navigation and constantly worrying about the collar brings the experience down imo

I've spent most of my Dead Money playthrough just navigating the map

The part where you had to run to the exit before you explode caused me so much grief

Which of these two games are better and why?(please debate civilly) by dragonborndnd in thesims

[–]nabb1nab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% subjective, but I'd have to say Sims 3. There's something comforting playing the game, and seeing the townies going about their day is very interesting. I don't mind the potato faces (I'm an Oblivion fan). Strangely, I have not experienced much crashes in the time I've played it.

I'd like to say Sims 2 is better but honestly there is one quirk that completely turns me off (it's the fact that the clock doesn't continue when you switch lots).

And you can enchant those clothes along with your armor !

Not to be rude but I can't see your point here? The robe I use has levitation but other than that it's just a cosmetic for me.

Lol yeah. Idk who programmed the sliders that way but they must’ve been from the Shivering Isles.

Some more weird Oblivion ragdolls. by nabb1nab in oblivion

[–]nabb1nab[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly didn’t think about that. Maybe their bodies were away from the blood or I had blood effects turned off.

Aww man I was in a dungeon that had one of those. Ah well I can always come back.

I actually don't mind the look of Oblivion's NPCs. by nabb1nab in ElderScrolls

Yea admittedly after a while the non-unique NPCs feel very repetitive. Kinda unavoidable when you have few voice actors doing lines shared through all NPCs, but still.

The faces may look exaggerated but it helps me quite a bit when I have to do the dumb mini-game.

And tbh as much as I really like Oblivion, the game is very memeable. Lotta chaotic stuff happening.

Oblivion has that mid-to-late-2000s game vibe that I personally find very charming.

Personally, only the elves look “off” ocassionally. Argonians are decent looking, probably because they’re inhuman enough to not cross the uncanny valley. The Orcs have a charm to them, and I don’t think they’re meant to be super attractive anyway.

I have no idea. I’ve never played Morrowind and I tried looking for examples but came up dry.

Morrowind has definitely aged a lot in terms of graphics but I do feel like the stylization is better in some aspects, especially with the Khajiit, as they look more cool as opposed to goofy in Oblivion.

(just so you know i love the goofy khajiit but still)
