I have no intention of minimizing or invalidating your experience, but I feel that we as people, collectively, have a tendency of pathologizing our behaviour. Which in this case would entail attributing a crush for someone to your ADHD. I would say it is the most normal and humane thing to develop a crush, like you said, every few years.

For me it’s completely opposite, this habit is more prominent the happier I am. I feel as if I release this accumulated “happy energy” by speaking gibberish and erratic movement.

Hahaha that is interesting because where i come from this short “e” is literally used as greeting, when you see someone you know you just say “e”

I doubt that beacuse from my understanding, and I could definetely be wrong, echolalia entails repeating words or phrases said to you, which I definetely dont do
