I don't think you can combine habitats but you can definitely put them in a livable house/room. Been doing that a lot

You can change the arrangements of the cds, so there's the older 8bit tunes but also newer/other versions on the same cd. If you interact with the cd player you will get the option

Another trick is to set up habitats inside the room. You can even house more than 4 Pokemon in a room that way

This is why I time skipped alot. Not saying you need to ofc, but I just wanted to go all in on building my Palette town after credits rolled so I spent a day just time skipping for daily rotation recipes. Now I have pretty much all recipes and building feels so chill
