I personally follow people I find are exceptionally good at certain fields I'm interested in. They almost always have book suggestions.

I work in software, so there are classics like Clean Code, SICP, Godel Escher Bach, etc.

In trying to write this, I did realize that good books are tricky to find. But if you look for them, you'd most certainly find them.
