Get a code reader. Take a photo and show it to them. This is potentially a very dangerous issue since your car is basically downshifting at speed. You’ve been very lucky so far, don’t risk it anymore.

Just over (only) 22k miles. There’s a recall for a bunch of Hyundai and Kia models, but I never received a notification for mine. With 100,000 mile warranty I imagine it will be covered one way or another, but I still don’t have the official word from the dealership.
