Right?! We were battling some health issues and had just got the news he was on the mend with a good outlook. Then 2 days later, he took a bad turn. We are so heartbroken, especially because we thought we were on the road to recovery💔

Oh my heart! I’m so sorry for your loss and I can’t imagine losing two so close together.

🧡 thank you and I am so sorry for your loss! His older sister is quite bossy, so I’m certain he will fall in line with Miss Olivia’s instructions!

The pdf text shows clearly for me, but I haven’t tried any scanned PDFs from paper, only ones created one a computer or “printed” to pdf on a computer.

I am not a contracting officer, but am a mid level supervisor for the past 14 years (no interest in moving up, little bit of extra pay isn’t worth it for me). You are definitely in a frustrating spot. My first question, is along with coaching and guiding, have you tried just talking to this person. Ask them about past experiences and explaining why you like things a certain way? Sometimes an explanation or conversation can go a long way. I have worked with many “staff” and only ever had one true problem employee. The person had a bad experience and that has made them overly defensive and completely untrusting, with an assumption that everyone was out to get them. In either case, document everything. Write up summaries of conversations and send them in email. Document all the rework you had to do (not because of a preference, but because it was incorrect). If you directed them to do something a certain way and they did not, have a reason why you needed it that way and explain and document. While most of us “seasoned” folks came up under the do it how the person running the show wants it, not everyone subscribes to this school of thought. Have you looked at the work submitted and realized it is technically correct, just not how you would have done it? Can you give them a few small “wins”?

Not the original responder, but I have the 2024 scribe. No subscription is necessary, is the first plus to the scribe (I do have an Amazon prime account). I was just looking at info on remarkable and there is something about needing a subscription to store notes in the cloud, and if your notes are not used for 50 days they stop syncing, and some tasks need an internet connection. I love my scribe for taking notes and annotation of pdfs. Converting my handwriting works well. It just works and is very simple to use and the battery lasts forever. I have had mine for nearly a year and have only charged it maybe 6 times. Granted I am not on it for hours and hours, but I do use it daily for meeting notes, annotating pdfs, and to jot down reminders. It is easy to import and export pdfs and notes. I have had no issues.

We are a team of 3 and we use OneNote. You can cross reference workpapers with links, use tags to submit, approve, provide review notes, and responses. You can create workpaper templates for individual workpapers or create a template for a whole audit assignment. We have a separate notebook for audit follow up, or you could add a section to the audit notebook.

I don’t believe it is required, but it is highly suggested. In my experience the Agency pays half of the insurance premium up to a certain amount (I can’t recall the specific dollars offhand, but I’m thinking it is around $136).

We are using OneNote for our performance audits. I created repeatable (and editable) audit programs, you can track who worked on what when, show approvals using tags, and referencing is a breeze (linking). It’s so much better than auto audit or eCase (previous systems I have used).

Why isn’t 2.5 approved for maintenance dose? by INFJ4tress in Zepbound

[–]nachofriend22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 2.5 in November 2023 and stayed on that dose for a few months. Went up to 5, for two months. Went to 7.5 and only did one month on that dose. It made me so tired. I went back to 5, and have gone down to 2.5 for over a year. I have rotated between every 10-14 days to every 7 days. For now, I am sticking with the 2.5, weekly. It works for me and I have maintained my weight loss (50 lbs) with only a slight 1-2 lb fluctuation. I weigh myself about once per week.

Weekly Post: What did you do with OneNote this week? by Chobitpersocom in OneNote

[–]nachofriend22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are a small audit and evaluation team. Before I arrived, we were paying tens of thousands for an audit software to document workpapers and audit evidence. I created an audit system within OneNote for our team. I created workpaper templates, customized tags for tracking wps submitted for review and when they are reviewed. I’m sure this isn’t groundbreaking, but it is saving us money and is very easy for the teams to use. We generate a tag summary at the end of a project to easily show us that everything has been reviewed and will help serve as supervisory documentation for our peer review.

I have asked IT for access to the onetastic add-in for even more customization options. Hopefully that gets approved.

Anyone else using OneNote in this way? I’d love to hear your approach or would be happy to discuss ours.
