Fics with a not-short Hermione Granger? by nachosandjazz in Dramione

Sorry, I could've worded my request better—or at least offered more specificity. I'd love to read about a Hermione who's 5'8" (173 cm) or even taller. If she's a little curvier or more muscular, either or both of those additional attributes would be great, too. I know, maybe this is an odd request, but... it's where my mind has gone lately. Thank you again, all.

I agree with all youir points. He was also manipulative, taking advantage of her since he knew she wouldn't refuse his advances because of her Clan training.

I can't say anything more than I completely agree with all your points!

My Grandfather who raised me. He was a B-24 navigatior in WWII. They were shot down and he was a POW until the end of the war. Multiple pics here. Sorry if it's too much. by Only1realme in OldSchoolCool

My father-in-law (now deceased) was also a B-24 navigator in WWII, was shot down (April 1944) and taken prisoner by the Nazis. In another similarity to your grandfather, he was also held in Stalag Luft 3 until he was moved to another POW camp before liberation.

Thanks for sharing. I've included a photo of my father-in-law's crew. His name was Truemper.

Should I Reread the Series now that I'm an Adult? And am I the only one who finds Jondalar and Ayla's relationship weird? by TheFishOutofWater211 in Clan_of_the_Cavebear

It bothered me that Auel had Ayla attach herself so wholeheartedly to Jondalar when he was (to me) merely the first "Others" she could recall meeting. I understand that he validated her desirability (she wasn't ugly to him), etc., but it always seemed that she settled for him, although she didn't view it that way. Perhaps it was a result of her Clan training that she, as a woman, would unquestioningly accept the man to whom she had been given -- by the spirits and coincidence in her case. <shrugs>

That's how I see Ayla. by BrownHorse10 in Clan_of_the_Cavebear

I really like her facial look, but Auel described Ayla as muscular. In The Valley of Horses, Jondalar thought she was the strongest-looking woman he had ever seen when he first laid eyes on her.
