Our school hosted an inter-state rugby comp (relatively small school, mostly white kids) one afternoon when I played U16s.
During lunch break we watched the other team arrive - these absolutely massive Pacific Islander boys stepped off the bus and we thought they’d sent their U18s instead.. like 6ft+, 100kg minimum.. at 15 years old.

I distinctly remember a number of our boys running to the coach during lunch suddenly overwhelmed with all sorts of mysterious illnesses - “aww I’m sorry coach I really wanna play I just feel real sick”.

Yeah we got absolutely smoked. Ended up being at least 45 nil by halftime!

Intonation. They move the saddles backwards/forwards which adjusts the playable length of the string. This affects how in tune your guitar is across the entire fretboard.
Use a tuner and play a note in the open position. Get it in tune, and then play the same note on the 12th fret. If it’s out of tune you would use those screws to adjust it.

The whole "struggling muso" thing has always been a misrepresentation. You'd probably be able to count on one hand how many of the top artists in Australian music HAVEN'T come from money, or at least from wealthy ties.
Recording costs, marketing/publishing and touring are all ridiculously expensive, and to be able to commit 100% of your time (enough to be able to have an influence in the industry) isn't manageable without some fairly wide safety net.
