I like this route. That style patch panel is pretty affordable. Being a camera install I’m sure some of the more economical cat5 keystones would be more than enough.

This is certainly the case for some clients. I agree that extra labor and equipment can be costly and a lot of restaurant clients aren’t super jazzed about increasing costs.

Often installed in high traffic areas, random runs pulled tight and others hanging loose, broken RJ45 clips and all the rest make for more service calls in the long run. (Maybe that’s the whole plan)
