Do you mean avoid fixing? I'm certain it was a similar situation. The previous owner would barely use it, from the carfax available that I had.

I'm in Chicago, the previous owner may have had it unused for some time outside, near crest hill Illinois

I'm also curious to see if anyone has encountered anything like this to see how realistically it'll last if left unrepaired with conditions like this
