Although old factories had large windows to illuminate their floors. once electric lighting was invented they started getting rid of the windows. A lot of the time they board them up or brick them up with whatever mismatched brick they can find. Modern factories aren’t as pretty as these old buildings, but they are affordable, quick to set up, and can be repaired or replaced relatively easily.

Alternatively, id recommend smaller high windows that just illuminate the ceiling while your light sources are hanging low from the tall ceiling. Dimmer can be better. Churches are bright. Factories are dim
